About the role:

As Stores Person, you’ll play a vital role in managing goods across multiple departments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, smooth goods-in and dispatch operations, and supporting the service and factory teams, all while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

This is a hands-on and computer-based role, requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Issuing stock to factory and field engineers
  • Receiving goods in, checking deliveries, and maintaining digital records
  • Preparing and packing shipments, including palletised items
  • Booking couriers and transport using internal systems
  • Invoice and delivery note reconciliation using in-house systems and spreadsheets
  • Refrigerant cylinder management and tracking
  • Spreadsheet-based data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Working with invoicing and dispatch documentation
  • Using company software and digital tools to manage goods and support logistics
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and storage areas
  • Providing support to factory staff and engineers
  • General admin and ad-hoc duties to support operations across the Factory and Service teams

Who my client is looking for

  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • High level of computer literacy – especially using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets etc)
  • Comfortable with invoice matching, stock systems and dispatch documentation
  • Previous experience in stores, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not essential
  • Willing to roll up their sleeves and keep things tidy and efficient
