About the Role: Service Coordinator

As the Service Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and scheduling the engineering team. You’ll be the vital link between customers and engineers — managing workflows, prioritising emergencies, and keeping everything moving efficiently.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and wants to be part of a high-performing, supportive team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule & create work orders for planned maintenance, repairs, and replacements
  • Dispatch engineers for emergency callouts
  • Communicate with customers and determine urgency of calls
  • Procure and track down parts for both scheduled and emergency jobs
  • Prepare costs for repairs when requested
  • Review engineer paperwork and assist invoicing process
  • Work closely with admin and service teams to ensure smooth delivery

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong coordination & scheduling experience, ideally in HVAC, M&E or Contracting
  • Excellent communication & organisation skills
  • Confident under pressure with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable talking to customers about technical equipment
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and professional
  • Experience or understanding of systems like:
    • Chillers, AHUs, Split Systems, VAVs, Pumps, VFDs, Water Heaters (Ideal – Not essential)
  • Happy to manage on-call rotation (nights & weekends)

 

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Field experience in HVAC or M&E
  • Basic electrical or low-voltage controls knowledge
  • Familiarity with building automation systems
