Job Title KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – JOINERY PRODUCTS
Job Description
Our client is a leading Manufacturer of Bespoke high end joinery products they are renowned for their high end products and commercial success within the industry. Due to continued growth & expansion they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. As Sales Executive you will be the first point of call for key customers and be expected to deliver outstanding customer services , and you will be the responsible for both developing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities .
Reporting to: SALES DIRECTOR
Working within a team that continually works together in promoting the company’s high end Joinery Products & Components into the Merchant / DIY Retail Sector, and be responsible for the Key Account Management of National Builders Merchants.
Key Responsibilities – KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
- To develop both new & existing clients accounts
- Build sales, pursue leads, and follow on enquiries
- Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
- Manage and grow Merchant Trading Agreement
- Travel to clients, both existing & new to maintain, strengthen and develop relationships.
- Generate new business and be involved in the company’s growth and expansion
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required – KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
- Proven sales experience in the Merchant Sector
- Strong negotiating skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Knowledge & strong experience dealing with the buying Groups
- Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
- Good IT skills & PC literate.
- Strong listening and presentation skills
