Here are some key things to consider when working with SRS and setting your Hiring Strategy up for success
Having a very clear understanding of the ideal persona of the person you are seeking to recruit is vital to ensuring a successful recruitment campaign.
A clear and concise Vacancy Description coupled with our Consultants having an in-depth discussion with you, will assist us in identifying the ideal Candidates for your vacancy.
One of the key factors that is often overlooked by Employers seeking new talent is timelines, by working backwards from the required commencement date it will be possible to set a time line for the recruitment process as follows:
- Briefing and confirmation of requirements with Consultant 2 days
- Search, Select & Submission of Candidates 5 days
- Initial telephone / video interviews 3 days
- 2nd interviews 7 days
- Offer negotiation and confirmation 2 days
- Candidate resignation and notice period (minimum) 30 days
Total recruitment process 49 days
With many Candidates now being held to a 3 month notice period by their current employers the recruitment process could be extended by 60 days.
By considering what are the ‘must have requirements’ and the ‘desirable but not essential requirements’ of the role and discussing them with one of our Consultants will ensure that a much wider talent pool can be considered and a broader range of Candidates submitted for consideration.
All Candidates submitted will have been screened by the Consultant you have discussed the vacancy with and will have agreed to their details being submitted to ensure full GDPR compliance.
Should you not have a Vacancy Description our Specialist Consultants will assist by formulating a draft for your approval prior to commencing the Search, Select and Submission of Candidates, in order to assist we have prepared the following all of which are downloadable:
