<p><strong>This is not a traditional call centre position. It is a commercially focused international customer service, export and order management role where you will take responsibility for sales orders, quotations, dealer enquiries, export documentation and shipment coordination across the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa.</strong></p>

<li>Input, manage and monitor international quotations and sales orders from initial enquiry through to fulfilment</li>
<li>Provide professional customer service and order support to customers and dealers across the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa</li>
<li>Maintain accurate customer, pricing, stock, delivery and order information across internal business systems</li>
<li>Review the order book regularly and identify issues requiring action, escalation or customer communication</li>
<li>Prepare, process and validate export documentation to support accurate and compliant international shipments</li>
<li>Coordinate Ex Works logistics and high volume shipments in line with relevant market import and export requirements</li>
<li>Liaise with customers, dealers, logistics partners, account managers, production, warehousing and despatch to support successful delivery</li>
<li>Provide clear and timely information regarding products, pricing, stock availability, lead times, quotations and delivery arrangements</li>
<li>Manage customer and dealer enquiries professionally and take ownership of issues through to resolution</li>
<li>Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records using CRM, ERP and internal business systems</li>
<li>Support account managers throughout the specification, quotation and order process while building strong relationships across different countries and cultures</li>
<li>Work to agreed service standards, communicate customer feedback internally and identify opportunities to improve processes and the wider international customer experience</li>

<p><strong>To be considered, candidates should be based within a realistic commuting distance of Birmingham and be comfortable working from the office during the probationary period.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Essential experience and attributes include:</strong></p>

<li>Relevant experience within international B2B order management, customer service, export administration, international sales support, dealer support or a related position</li>
<li>Hands on experience supporting international customers or dealers and managing orders through to delivery or fulfilment</li>
<li>Practical experience preparing, processing or managing export documentation</li>
<li>Experience raising and processing quotations and sales orders</li>
<li>A clear understanding of international order management, customer communication and internal coordination</li>
<li>Experience within an office based customer service, export or commercial support environment</li>
<li>Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple international orders, enquiries and priorities without compromising accuracy</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised approach</li>
<li>Experience using an ERP, CRM or order management system</li>
<li>Commercial awareness and the confidence to hold detailed customer and dealer conversations</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm under pressure, take ownership and see actions through from beginning to completion</li>
</ul>

<p>Experience coordinating Ex Works shipments, working with freight forwarders or supporting customers across multiple international markets would be highly advantageous.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Experience using JD Edwards, Salesforce, Oracle or a comparable system would also be beneficial, although full systems training will be provided.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Previous experience within commercial interiors, flooring, furniture, building products, manufacturing, distribution, logistics or another product led B2B environment would be beneficial but is not essential.</p>

<p>Direct experience supporting customers or dealers across the Middle East, Mediterranean or Africa would be advantageous. Strong international export and dealer support experience across other global markets will also be considered.</p>

<p>As Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll play a central role in turning technical enquiries into profitable orders. You’ll own opportunities from first contact through to secured deal, ensuring every solution is both technically robust and commercially viable. Working closely with expert colleagues, you’ll quickly develop in-depth product knowledge and become a trusted advisor to our clients. Your proactive approach, strong communication, and attention to detail will help build client confidence and drive business growth.</p>
<p>With a clear onboarding plan and ongoing support, you’ll help shape winning proposals, solve complex challenges, and directly contribute their continued success in the specialist roofing sector.</p>

<p><strong>Job Specification:</strong></p>
<p>As a leading Insulation company, we are experiencing significant growth and are now seeking an internal sales representative focused on our <strong>Merchant business</strong> to strengthen the internal sales team. <strong>The role is office based, in the Birmingham branch. You will be dealing directly with merchants to create your own customer base</strong> and help grow the company sales.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build existing customer relationships to improve customer satisfaction, business retention and cross sales.</li>
<li>Grow new business by engaging with decision making stakeholders within the construction industry.</li>
<li>Deliver updates via CRM (training will be provided), attend monthly team meetings and prepare reports when required.</li>
<li>Network at supplier and industry events to promote the brand.</li>
<li>Build a strong network of industry &amp; sector partners to support for business growth and retention.</li>
</ul>

<li>Prepare customer proposals and solutions with clear costings and evaluations.</li>
<li>Achieve Sales KPIs set by management team.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales team, customer operations and logistics.</li>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2-3 years experience in a sales/technical role desirable.</li>
<li>Charismatic and tenacious approach to telesales.</li>
<li>Ideally some experience in construction and/or building materials.</li>
<li>Strong communication, presentation &amp; IT skills.</li>
<li>Adaptable, self-driven &amp; team oriented.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a high growth business.</li>
<li>Robust organisational skills.</li>
<li>Must be confident, outgoing, energetic and target driven.</li>

<p>The company is undergoing substantial growth and is currently looking for an external sales representative (contractors) to become part of the external sales team. In this role, you will interact directly with contractors to establish your own customer base and contribute to the company’s sales expansion.</p>

<p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build new sales opportunities with main contractors in-person, with follow-up quotations, calls and emails to generate new sales.</li>
<li>Prospect new business through company background research and other pertinent lead information.</li>
<li>Identify customer&#8217;s buying trends and provide reports to management.</li>
<li>Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.</li>
<li>Grow new business by engaging with decision making stakeholders within the construction industry.</li>

<li>Achieve sales KPI&#8217;s and targets.</li>

<p><strong>Are you a driven sales professional with experience in building relationships with Housebuilders, Developers and Architects through project tracking and strategic business development?</strong></p>

<p><strong>If so, we are working with a well-established supplier of heavyside building products who are looking to appoint a Sales and Project Manager to help them capitalise on opportunities across the South of England. </strong></p>
<p><strong>                                                </strong></p>
<p><strong>The Role </strong></p>
<p>You will be responsible for the sales of our Client’s products across a defined territory, the Sales &amp; Project Manager will develop and manage a comprehensive project pipeline to ensure territory sales targets are achieved and exceeded.</p>
<p>The role requires proactively raising the company’s profile among key stakeholders within the region. This includes engaging directly with architectural practices to influence product specification, while building new and strengthening existing, mutually beneficial trading relationships with building contractors and developers.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Specific duties would include:   </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Sales of all company product ranges to meet agreed budgets through the successful specification that lead to completed orders.</li>
<li>Project Tracking: Desktop research and extensive outbound telephone call levels inline with company guidelines (minimum 3 days a week, office based, time commitment on this source of pipeline development)</li>
<li>Successfully progress planning leads provided by the company for future target projects from architectural stage(s) through to contractor stage and subsequent successful order won. 100% ownership of own project pipeline.</li>
<li>Identification and follow-up of new sales opportunities through new contractors, developers, sub contractors and clients</li>
<li>2 days per week minimum field based activity in face to face (and where appropriate video conference) meetings in both office environments and construction site settings to secure commitment, develop relationships, promote and secure order and periodically</li>
<li>CRM / Project tracking database management with detailed project notes.</li>
<li>Management of current orders to ensure they run effectively, timely and to the benefit of the business – Correct management of site schedules, ensure call offs and additional product orders placed.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record in selling heavyside building products</li>
<li>Experience managing a defined sales territory and achieving revenue targets</li>
<li>Demonstrable success in developing and managing a strong project pipeline through project tracking</li>
<li>Experience influencing product specification with architectural practices</li>
<li>Established relationships with building contractors and developers</li>
<li>Background in the construction or building materials sector</li>
<li>CRM and pipeline management capability</li>
<li>Full, clean drivers license</li>
</ul>
