The business delivers technically advanced products and project solutions across some of the UK’s most demanding built environments, including commercial buildings, infrastructure, data centres, government facilities, corporate environments and high-security sites.</strong></p>

<li>Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, system integrators, installers, end users and wider project stakeholders.</li>
<li>Act as the key account manager and primary point of contact for relevant regional clients and opportunities.</li>
<li>Drive sales performance by managing activity, pipeline, conversion, order intake and financial targets.</li>
<li>Promote the company’s full range of high-security entrance and access control solutions, maintaining strong product, technical and commercial understanding.</li>
<li>Influence specifications and guide opportunities from early-stage engagement through to order, handover and delivery.</li>
<li>Lead client meetings, site visits, presentations and regional activity in a professional and credible manner.</li>
<li>Negotiate and close opportunities while maintaining commercial discipline, margin awareness and deliverable outcomes.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, forecasting and project tracking.</li>
<li>Work closely with internal teams to coordinate specifications, design, pricing, proposals and delivery requirements.</li>

<li>A proven sales professional with experience in specification-led, project-led or consultative B2B sales.</li>
<li>Experience within security products, entrance systems, access control, automatic doors, aluminium systems, lifts, escalators, building systems, M&amp;E, construction products or another aligned technical product sector would be highly relevant.</li>
<li>A strong understanding of project sales cycles, stakeholder influence, specification, contractor engagement and end user requirements.</li>
<li>The ability to build relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, system integrators, installers, end users and other relevant decision makers.</li>
<li>Strong new business development capability, with the confidence to create activity rather than rely on inbound enquiries.</li>
<li>Commercial awareness, including the ability to manage pipeline, negotiate effectively, protect margin and convert opportunities properly.</li>
<li>A professional, credible and structured approach to CRM, forecasting, reporting and internal communication.</li>
<li>The ability to understand technical products and translate client requirements into commercially sound solutions.</li>
<li>Strong geographical knowledge of London South and the Home Counties South.</li>

<p><strong>Are you a driven sales professional with experience in building relationships with Housebuilders, Developers and Architects through project tracking and strategic business development?</strong></p>

<p><strong>If so, we are working with a well-established supplier of heavyside building products who are looking to appoint a Sales and Project Manager to help them capitalise on opportunities across the South of England. </strong></p>
<p><strong>                                                </strong></p>
<p><strong>The Role </strong></p>
<p>You will be responsible for the sales of our Client’s products across a defined territory, the Sales &amp; Project Manager will develop and manage a comprehensive project pipeline to ensure territory sales targets are achieved and exceeded.</p>
<p>The role requires proactively raising the company’s profile among key stakeholders within the region. This includes engaging directly with architectural practices to influence product specification, while building new and strengthening existing, mutually beneficial trading relationships with building contractors and developers.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Specific duties would include:   </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Sales of all company product ranges to meet agreed budgets through the successful specification that lead to completed orders.</li>
<li>Project Tracking: Desktop research and extensive outbound telephone call levels inline with company guidelines (minimum 3 days a week, office based, time commitment on this source of pipeline development)</li>
<li>Successfully progress planning leads provided by the company for future target projects from architectural stage(s) through to contractor stage and subsequent successful order won. 100% ownership of own project pipeline.</li>
<li>Identification and follow-up of new sales opportunities through new contractors, developers, sub contractors and clients</li>
<li>2 days per week minimum field based activity in face to face (and where appropriate video conference) meetings in both office environments and construction site settings to secure commitment, develop relationships, promote and secure order and periodically</li>
<li>CRM / Project tracking database management with detailed project notes.</li>
<li>Management of current orders to ensure they run effectively, timely and to the benefit of the business – Correct management of site schedules, ensure call offs and additional product orders placed.</li>

<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record in selling heavyside building products</li>
<li>Experience managing a defined sales territory and achieving revenue targets</li>
<li>Demonstrable success in developing and managing a strong project pipeline through project tracking</li>
<li>Experience influencing product specification with architectural practices</li>
<li>Established relationships with building contractors and developers</li>
<li>Background in the construction or building materials sector</li>
<li>CRM and pipeline management capability</li>
<li>Full, clean drivers license</li>
</ul>
